October/November 2010

I guess blogger wants me to start with November, I always forget it puts them in backwards

from when you put them in. O well.

Taylor was baptized November 6, 2010. It was a great day for her, and

it was nice to get both sides of the family together for a great lunch.

Taylor's 8th Birthday! Still can't believe we have an 8 year old!

She's a great daughter and big sister.

Trevor wanted Pumpkin pie for his birthday, with 2 kids in 3 days

plus Halloween in the middle, we get a little sick of cake and sweets.

These two pics were of our halloween pumpkins. The kids loved going to the pumpkin

patch picking out their own little one. They turned out cute and we had fun

carving them as a family.

I haven't scanned the ultrasound pictures yet, but as most of you all ready know

we are having a baby GIRL!!!! I don't think Taylor would allow us to have

another boy:) I am 23 weeks along now, due in March!!

Updates!

I can't believe how fast my little girl has grown up! I can still remember bringing her home from the hospital, and how slow Shaun drove down the hill to our apartment. Now she's a big girl getting ready to be baptized! Where did the time go and when did she get so smart.

The picture below is a four generation picture we took at Taylor's blessing. The next time she wears white she'll get all wet.

We are so proud of our baby girl, and can't wait to see what the future has for her and her brothers, and this new little bean coming this spring.

"Belly Button"

Trevor did a self portrait at pre school today.

When I unrolled the paper the first thing I notice was

the "belly button". I'm so glad for his innocence.

the "Staples"

On September 14th Trevor was "spinning" in the living room,

lost his balance and hit his head on the piano bench. The poor

guy lost so much blood and the color to his face was GONE!

I wasn't sure if the gash was enough to take him to the doctor,

but I was really worried about a concussion. But obviously it was

big enough to be stapled.

He only had them in a few days, but he is still sensitive and there

is a little bit of a bump. I forgot about it this morning when I was

rushing to comb his hair and get him off to school. He's a strong man though

and we were very proud of the way he acted towards the entire even.

So I guess we'll start with big mans gifts first.

He had a great party with all kinds of family, we did it out in the

front yard and all the kids had fun running around and

playing with our outside bikes, cars and slide.

This little monkey would blow the candles out as soon as

Shaun would get one lit. But we did finally get to sing to him

than blow them out.

Poor Eli has been going a little nuts being home alone with mommy!!

So here is his new entertainment, he is learning a lot, colors, shapes, and numbers.

We're working towards the alphabet soon.

Taylor is in the 2nd grade now! Where did our lives go?

I can't believe we have a kid that old, she'll be 8 in

November. Taylor has grown into an excellent reader and artist

she plays the piano and can't wait to start the simplified Hymns.

Mr. Trevor is in Preschool again this year, poor kid has a late b-day

but he is enjoying his new school with the red door:)

He too is learning a little bit of reading, and loves "centers"

where they play with interactive toys and computers. I'm very glad

we found a school that teaches with technology, that is one thing

that we never learned when we were his age.

Summer....finally!

The kids wanted to run through the sprinklers today.

I didn't think they'd get to went in their clothes, but

I was wrong. They had soooo much fun playing together, and

spraying each other with the hose.

What we have been up to....

I have been looking for a hutch to put in the house, but didn't want a fancy style.

I found this at a second hand store in Rigby, we have 4 of them here now, and I have found

a lot of fun stuff, to bad I don't have more money to spend.

I plan on putting our Africa stuff Shaun's parents brought home for us in it.

This was from one of the other 2nd hand stores, the lady had picture frames in it,

I thought it would look good with my little flower pots the kids planted.

Maybe for winter we'll bring it in and put Christmas stuff in it.

My little brother graduated from High School in May. Can't believe he'll

be on a mission this winter!

My naked table dancer!! I always find him in bed naked, we have to pin his

pj's shut.

Sad news

I went to the doctor again today and they did an ultra sound, there was no heart beat. I go in for a DNC tomorrow morning. We're all very sad, but we'll learn from it and have this baby in our hearts forever.

Number 4

Yep, I am expecting our fourth child! Very unexpected but very welcomed. I took two test at the beginning of the month because I was feeling sick, but I'm always sick with the tumor medicine so didn't know if it was the meds or baby. Those test came out negative so figured it was just going to be an extra sick medicine month. Than we went to Walmart a few nights ago and the smells helped make that shopping trip get done quick. While we were there I bought another box of test and took them the other morning, these two both immediately came positive. Went to one of my Doctors today, and was told to stop all tumor medicines, but we wouldn't go in for an MRI yet, we'll see how I feel and if the tumor signs come back. I have a few things I can do at home for the vision part, and I need to keep track of my headaches.

The baby is due in October, another October baby! We keep on going for those fall babies:) Taylor and Trevor keep on saying its a girl. Secretly I'm hoping for a girl too, but since I've been on all the medications for these few weeks of pregnancy we're just praying they haven't done anything serious to the little one.

Busy Mom....

Wow has life gotten busy... I volunteer at Taylor's school every other Tuesday. Work at the Temple every 2nd Tuesday. Teach Pre School with some of my friends on Monday and Wednesday, and now I have another calling in our new ward. I'm the Primary Secretary. Balance all the doctor appointments for the family and Taylor's piano on Mondays. Not to mention all the home work she has every night. She's in first grade and has an hour of homework every night, plus about 30 minutes of piano. I don't know how some parents put their kids in so many thing, I'm going nuts with just the things we have to do.

Eli went to nursery for the first time on Sunday. 3 weeks early, but Shaun and I both have callings during church so we didn't have much of a choice. With the older 2 I would start taking them in the nursery room at about 16 months to slowly introduce them, I of course would stay with them. With Eli he had never been, he's pretty good for us during out meetings, as long as we have books and food for him. He had so much fun going in, I checked on him a few times and he was fine. Than after Shaun got done teaching he went over and Eli had just gotten hurt, so he took him to Priesthood. I can't wait for March 7, and he go in with no guilt.

Joy is in the Journey!

We had a Relief Society Meeting today, there were 5 workshops and you picked 3 to go to each with a different topic, but it was all about making your home and yourself better. The first workshop I went to (with some friends) the sister teaching told a story about one of her friends, Penny, and her husband were at an airport when they saw an attractive lady walk by them in a nice sweat suit. and on her butt were the words "Hot Chick". Jokingly she (the teacher) said that she wanted one that said "wide Load". I guess nobody wears their feelings on their shirts anymore:) So now I want to start a walking group when it is warmer with the words "Joy is in the Journey" on our behinds. Who's in, lets make it a "cool" thing.

Glasses

I was taking Taylor and Trevor's pictures with their new glasses

and Eli was saying "teese" so here is his little face for us to love

and enjoy.

Trevor is in love with his glasses, he cleans them all the time

and is excited to see the moon in the sky!

Taylor wanted hot pink glasses, but they didn't look very good with her

skin, and hair. She tried these ones on and we both

agreed with chocolate brown and light pink.

I started an open blog a long time ago...I just put a new post on it http://makingmetime.blogspot.com/. I hate having a private blog because it doesn't show new post on others blog list.

I took the older two kids to the eye doctor today. They both need glasses! Poor Taylor has 20/50 vision and astigmatism. He told us that if she were 16 going in to get her drivers license she would not pass the vision part. Trevor has a very "hard" astigmatism and we are to watch him for my dads eye disease...poor kid. They should get their glasses tomorrow, I'll post pictures when we actually get them.

Christmas (better late than never)

On Christmas Eve, we went to Shaun's parent's house

Jim read the birth of Christ from the scriptures as we all

reenacted the story.

Taylor was on of the angels and Trevor was the star.

best I came up with)

My Grandpa Bellows sent us some money for the kids a Christmas gift.

I found a Sesame Street fold up town.

Eli loved the box, as usual...

Pictures of the Bathroom...finally!

I did the hall/kids bathroom a month ago now. It has turned out

very nice. In my opinion. We hope to update the vanity

and counter top this spring. I don't want to pain another bathroom!!

I think its the hardest room in the house to paint, and I have one more to do

and its the big one.
