Wood Floor

I thought I'd put the pretty before the really ugly. We love the

floor and the base boards we picked out. We will put the same

boards through out the house (eventually)




We finally got the dining room and kitchen floor redone.  As we ripped the carpet up we found out we have 4 kinds of vinyl flooring.  What a mess. but it is beautiful now!

Bedroom set

A few weeks ago Shaun got us a new bedspread , than about 2-3 weeks

ago we went to walmart and bought the headboard, night stand, and

dresser.  For just over $250.00 so not to bad for a make over....

play around with colors and fading in and out on pictures

Pretty in Pink

Today is Taylor's class photo and personality picture day, Here is a picture of how cute she was, she loves it when I let her put on make up.  Such a girly girl!

Shaun was home sick a few weeks ago, and was playing with Eli between naps. This is the moment I got recorded...

My Boys

Eli is a big time roller now. For some reason his favorite place is under the coffee table in the living room. All though a few days, maybe a week ago he rolled from the love seat, through the table, and over to the fireplace to get his froggie toy. He's a nut. I now have to vacuum twice a day so he doesn't eat things off the floor.

 

Jabber Box

Today Shaun and I were in our dining room talking, and Taylor always has a story to tell.  Not only does she tell it to you once but over, and over, and over.  She is just a jabber box, my mom says I was the same way as a child, so I guess I can only blame myself. I digress, anyway she was talking to us about something at school which I'd all ready heard a few times. I told her she talks to much and if she continues the way she is going. She wont have a voice when she gets older (just a little white lie, bad mom I know).

I told Shaun the sometimes her talking bugs me, and he told me she is a lot like me, and I told him I don't bug me. She may have his cheeks but she acts like me. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing!

Good Times....

The other night we were headed up to Rexburg for dinner and Taylor was talking her day at school.  She was telling a story, I can't even remember what she was saying now, anyway she sat back in her seat, relaxed and said "good times, good times".  It was so funny, Shaun laughed and wondered where she came from...Than today I was cleaning up the house a bit, and had the radio on to some 80's music. Taylor walked into the dining room and asked why I was listening to "olden day music", I can't believe it, I am now compared to my parents. I'm old.

Up the nose

Taylor  and her nose, chapter 2:

I swear I should write a what not to do book for parents.  Some of you may remember last year when I was huge and pregnant with Eli.  Taylor got a good foot of t.p up her nose.  Guess what she did it again.  Only this time it was Shaun home with her while I was in Rexburg with Eli.  He called my cell and the conversation went something like this.  "Guess what your daughter did...."  "what now" , "she put tp up her nose and said Trevor did it so she wouldn't get in trouble." (like she would sit there and let him do that) Shaun got some tweezers out and we think he got it all, it wasn't as packed in there like it was last time, thank goodness, I hate going to the Doctor for dumb stuff like that, most the time they just laugh and tell you a story about another parent that brought their kid in for something more stupid......joys.

Eli

My baby is now 6 months old, and had another well baby check today. He is 17.8 lbs. (54%), 28.8 inches (98%), and his huge head it 17.5 in. (68%). He had 3 shots in his chubby legs, and is fussy. Poor little man doesn't do very well with immunizations.

An up date on us being sick. I now have sores on my top lit from blowing my nose so much, I'd post a picture, but who needs/wants to see that. Shaun still has a harsh hack, that scares me and the kids all the time. Taylor and Trevor have both started up pretty bad this weekend, and Eli is, as I said earlier, fussy.

Lets just say we are so ready for spring.

SICK...SICK....SICK

This has been a week of tissues and Tylenol cold pills... We are now on our 3rd box of puffs tissues and still going.  I don't know how we all got so sick, I blame the wind and cold weather.

For some good news, our wood floor has been ordered and should be put in with in the month. Shaun won't have to work 16 hour days this next week! Taylor got her report card and is doing EXCELLENT, we are proud of how well she is doing. Her Teacher said she has learned all she needs for Kindergarten, so now she mostly plays the computer and helps teacher pass papers. Trevor, well he's the only one not sick.  Which is a good thing because he's mean when he is sick. Now onto Little Boo, (Eli) he rolls around, eats his toes and scoots in circles.

It feels like every time I have a moment for a cute picture

it passes by with his eyes closed and I just can't capture the 

moment....suggestions.

What a Week...and it's not done yet

I can't believe it's only Wednesday.  This has been one of those weeks, Shaun is putting in at least 12 hours days, Tuesday it was more like 15, he's sick and has passed it on to Eli and now myself. So no sleep for the sick right...

I am trying the keep the house together, but right now the living room has Trevor's Hot Wheel track and towns out and I keep stepping on cars.  Thank goodness Taylor goes to school for a few hours a day, quiet time only happens when the older two are apart.

On Saturday we had the dining room and kitchen measured for our new flooring!!!! YEA!! I am so excited to get it all done and make it look so much better, I'll put before and after pics up once we get it going, they told us 2-3 weeks and it should be in.
