counter tops

We are getting new Kitchen counter tops. They are coming

Thursday to measure and order. Here are the

two that we have narrowed it down to.

I have put them in different lighting through out the day

and still can't decide what one to choose.

This is the darker of the 2 on the wood floor. There are times

this one is my favorite, I think it may make the

kitchen feel a bit small though.

The lighter one, our cabinets are white, so this is a good go

between. Just not sure if its to light.

Our current counter tops are a pale pink, and need to go.

The Screaming boy!!!

I swear it all started the day we brought Addison home.

Eli quit using words and just started to scream

and have MAJOR fits! He quit taking naps, which I

so need him to take. For example, today he was in the

back of the house and I hear this bloody murder scream

I yell to find out what was going on, he wouldn't answer so I go

to him and asked repeatedly what he wanted, what is wrong.

No answer. After about 10 minutes he finally cries he wants milk.

REALLY all that for a cup of milk!!

Another thing is Trevor coming to us saying I'm bored.

So I mention half a dozen things to him. Clean your room, color

read a book, drawl, get a game down, but all those get a "no".

I don't want to hear it!!

Addison's Day

Today was a good day, we celebrated Addison's birth, and

gave her a name and a blessing. Shaun gave her a beautiful blessing

and we had many strong Priesthood holders lay their hands on her

head.

She slept all through church and her little party,

but she was awake and gorgeous for these pictures

my sister took. We put sheets over our couch, and had some

props to pose her on, one being my brother Aaron's coat.

He is on his mission, and was missed today, but

at least she was able to smell him:)

Time flies

Addison has been part of our family for over a week now!!

Hard to believe we made it our first week with 4 kids,

it is true that 3 is harder, but for us #3 is the worst:)

Eli has had a hard time adjusting to this little beauty taking

our attention away from him.

The top picture was taken when she was 5 days old and the

bottom one was when she was 3 days old. I put her in the same

outfit to see how her jaundice was, as you can see she is still a bit yellow

but it is slowly getting better.

I sent him home with a picture of her and I hear

he shows it to any/everyone that comes to his house

she is loved and is a blessing in our lives.

You can see her jaundice better in this picture, even through all

that dark hair.

October/November 2010

I guess blogger wants me to start with November, I always forget it puts them in backwards

from when you put them in. O well.

Taylor was baptized November 6, 2010. It was a great day for her, and

it was nice to get both sides of the family together for a great lunch.

Taylor's 8th Birthday! Still can't believe we have an 8 year old!

She's a great daughter and big sister.

Trevor wanted Pumpkin pie for his birthday, with 2 kids in 3 days

plus Halloween in the middle, we get a little sick of cake and sweets.

These two pics were of our halloween pumpkins. The kids loved going to the pumpkin

patch picking out their own little one. They turned out cute and we had fun

carving them as a family.

I haven't scanned the ultrasound pictures yet, but as most of you all ready know

we are having a baby GIRL!!!! I don't think Taylor would allow us to have

another boy:) I am 23 weeks along now, due in March!!

Updates!

I can't believe how fast my little girl has grown up! I can still remember bringing her home from the hospital, and how slow Shaun drove down the hill to our apartment. Now she's a big girl getting ready to be baptized! Where did the time go and when did she get so smart.

The picture below is a four generation picture we took at Taylor's blessing. The next time she wears white she'll get all wet.

We are so proud of our baby girl, and can't wait to see what the future has for her and her brothers, and this new little bean coming this spring.
